Thought for Day 15 of 2015: Stop Feeling Sorry for Yourself

There is nothing productive in self-pity. The only thing it does is keep us captive and living in the past. You can keep going on feeling bad for yourself or you can stop being a victim. And if there is drama in your life, it is because you are not walking away from it and enabling it.

You will never be able to control what others do but you are in full control of your reactions and responses. Stop attending to your own pity party, blaming others for why you are stuck and accept that you can change your thoughts and experiences. You are the only one who has power to control where you are and how you feel.

In 2015, choose to stop feeling sorry for yourself.
