Thought for Day 11 of 2015: Explore the World Around You

You can look at a flower garden and see flowers or you can take a look to see what is beyond that. A simple patch of flowers can have some fascinating creatures living underneath it. All you have to do is look to see that there is so much more in the world.  Look in the bushes, trees or a nearby pond. Look everywhere and see what you find in the strangest of places.

You can take a simple walk and pay attention to what is around you. Take things like cameras, notepads and binoculars to help make the most of your exploring.

Don’t limit your exploring to nature. Take a new route or visit a new town. Attend a theater performance, go to a park and walk children play or visit a local museum.   You can walk around your own city. You never know what your might discover.

  1. Thank you — A discovery walk through my community with a camera in hand sounds like a good idea. Thank you for sharing.
