Joint Effort RA Teleconference‏

I received this email from Abbott Labs and I thought I would share with any interested parties.

Living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can be a challenge. It can limit the way you work, the activities you engage in, and even your independence. That’s why it is so important to stay informed about both the signs and symptoms of this disease and the management of your RA.

As someone who has requested information about RA from us in the past, you are invited to a special upcoming event on either October 27, October 28, or October 29, 2009. This event is offered at three different times for your convenience. Take your pick!

Topic: Understanding RA: Finding Balance
Session 1: October 27, 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm ET
Session 2: October 28, 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm ET
Session 3: October 29, 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm ET
Reserve your place now!

“Finding Balance” is part of the Joint Effort teleconference series sponsored by Abbott. Our goal is to provide RA patients with relevant, helpful information about this disease. To launch this series, we are featuring Barbara Ferry, CMA,CCRC.

Barbara Ferry, CMA, CCRC is a certified medical assistant as well as a certified clinical research coordinator, working currently as a special projects manager at the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. Ferry’s experience in the rheumatology field includes 18 years of private practice and four years of academic medicine.

This teleconference is free and available to you from home, or work, or from wherever you call in. Go to our registration page to sign up for this event.

Once you register, you will receive an e-mail with your teleconference call-in instructions.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about both the signs and symptoms of this disease and the management of your RA.

We look forward to your attendance,

The Joint Effort Team at Abbott
